An editorial overview based on our monitoring and the project's website: modes, crossplay, Java and Bedrock addresses, licence, pros and cons.

Important: this is an editorial overview by Minecraft-Servera, not an advertisement. It relies on our monitoring data (as of 28 October 2026) and the project's official website. Player counts and versions change — see the server page.

In short

CubeCraft is an international minigames network where Java and Bedrock players share the same server. According to our ping, the Java side runs 1.20–1.21 and requires a licence. About 1.2k players were on the Java address when we checked on 28 October; the highest count we have recorded is 1,598.

Game modes

The project's website lists SkyWars, Lucky Islands and EggWars, and its news mentions a BedWars update, Competitive Duels, Chaos SkyWars, BlockWars and Mob Hunt (formerly Mob Who). Our catalogue also tags the server with parkour. At the time of writing the MOTD advertises a Halloween event with a hunt, maps and an updated hub.

Store

The project has a store on its website; its news mentions bundles (such as the Space Bundle) in the Bedrock server store and paid ranks and passes (Java Diamond Rank, Bedrock SkyWars Pass) that give, for example, advanced map voting.

Pros and cons

Pros:

  • crossplay: friends on PC (Java) and on phones or consoles (Bedrock) play together;
  • classic modes — EggWars, Lucky Islands, SkyWars, BedWars;
  • on Bedrock it is a featured partner server, available in the Servers tab even on consoles;
  • a large Discord community.

Cons:

  • Java requires a licence and is limited to 1.20–1.21;
  • English only;
  • the Java side has far fewer players than the biggest networks such as Hypixel.

How to join

Java: licensed launcher → version 1.20 or 1.21 → Multiplayer → Add Server → play.cubecraft.net. Guide: How to join a Java server.

Bedrock (phone, Windows): Play → Servers → pick CubeCraft from the partner list, or add mco.cubecraft.net with port 19132. Consoles — through the partner list only. More: How to join from phone or console.

Similar servers are in the Minigames and BedWars and Bedrock / play on phone collections.
