How to vote for a server and get rewards (NuVotifier)

Voting for a server on Minecraft-Servera, how often you can vote, why a reward didn't arrive, what votes give you on the site — and how owners set up NuVotifier for in-game rewards.

Voting is the simplest way to support a server you like: votes decide its place in the ranking and therefore how many new players see it. Many servers also give an in-game reward. Here is how voting works, why a reward sometimes doesn't arrive and how to set everything up as an owner.

How to vote

  1. Log in. Voting requires an account — regular registration or Telegram login.
  2. Open the server page and press Vote.
  3. Enter your Minecraft nickname exactly as in game — the server gives the reward to this name. If it's set in your profile, it's filled in automatically.
  4. Confirm. Sometimes the site runs a short browser check against bots.
  5. Done: you'll see "Vote counted", your site reward and when you can vote again.
Tip: set your Minecraft nickname in your profile settings so rewards never go to a typo.

How often you can vote

  • One vote per server every 24 hours, limited both per account and per IP address.
  • Votes for different servers are independent.
  • The button shows when you can vote again.
  • The ranking counts votes of the current month; the count restarts with each calendar month.

Why a vote may be rejected

MessageMeaningWhat to do
Already votedA vote from this account or IP in the last 24 hoursWait until the time shown
Account too newFresh accounts can't vote right awayWait a little and retry
Network blockedThe vote comes from a network used for vote cheating (some VPNs and hosting)Turn off the VPN
Invalid nicknameUnsupported characters or length3–16 Latin letters, digits or underscore

Blocking VPNs and multi-accounts keeps the ranking fair for everyone.

Did the reward arrive: SENT, FAILED, NONE

After a vote the site forwards it to the server via Votifier:

  • Reward sent to the server (SENT) — delivered; the server's plugin gives the reward, usually immediately, sometimes on your next login.
  • The server did not accept the reward (FAILED) — the vote counts on the site, but you probably got nothing in game. Tell the server staff — their setup is broken.
  • No reward message (NONE) — the server has no Votifier or no nickname was given. The vote counts in the ranking only.

If it says "sent" but nothing came: check the nickname spelling, whether you have played with that name, and whether rewards are only given online or on a specific mode.

What a vote gives you on the site

Each vote also earns XP and emeralds, the site's game currency, and counts towards quests, achievements and streaks. Emeralds can only be earned, not bought or cashed out.

Vote reminders

  • Turn on the Vote again notification — it arrives 24 hours after your vote in your inbox or Telegram (if linked).
  • You can also enable an on-site banner reminding you of servers you voted for during the last week.

For owners: setting up NuVotifier

Step 1. Install the plugin

Put NuVotifier from its official project page into the server's plugins folder (Paper/Spigot); it also has BungeeCord and Velocity versions for networks. Restart — it creates its config and keys.

Step 2. Open the port

NuVotifier listens on TCP port 8192 by default (configurable in config.yml). It must be reachable from the internet: allocate it in your hosting panel or forward it on your router.

Step 3. v1 key or v2 token

Votifier v1NuVotifier v2
ProtectionRSA keyshared token
What to paste on the sitethe public key from rsa/public.key in the plugin folderthe token from config.yml (tokens section)

The site supports both. Never publish your token or key.

Step 4. Enter the data in the cabinet

Open your server in the cabinet → Votifier section (also part of the add-server form), enter the host, port and public key (v1) or token (v2), and save.

Step 5. Send a test vote

Use Test vote with any nickname. "Vote delivered to the server" means it works; otherwise check the port, the key, and whether you mixed up v1 and v2.

Step 6. Configure rewards

NuVotifier only receives votes. A reward plugin that listens to vote events (for example VotingPlugin or alternatives) gives items, money, crate keys or streak bonuses. Make the reward worthwhile without breaking the economy, and describe it in your listing.

Important: never ask players to vote from several accounts or through a VPN — such votes are blocked and visible to moderators.
